Woman Shot to Death Near Venice Beach Boardwalk; Suspects Sought

A woman was killed in a possibly gang-related shooting near the Venice Beach Boardwalk, and three male suspects remained at large Wednesday morning.
The shooting occurred at about 5:25 p.m. Tuesday in the area of Ocean Front Walk and 17th Avenue, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
The woman was taken to a hospital, where she died. Her name was withheld, pending notification of her relatives.
According to police, a dispute had occurred between the victim, her boyfriend and three unidentified male suspects, who ran from the crime scene. Descriptions of the suspects were not released.
