Police Investigate Shooting in Cathedral City

Police Wednesday investigated a shooting reported in Cathedral City.

Police were sent about 1:20 p.m. to the 68100 block of Ramon Road to reports of gunfire, according to Cathedral City police Cmdr. Julio Luna.

Once on scene, officers located “evidence of a shooting between at least two adult males,” on the north side of the Ramon Road near Avenida La Paloma, but found no victims or suspects.

Police were asking any witnesses to call Detective Sgt. Rick Sanchez at 760-202-2488.
