Pedestrian Killed By Vehicle in Norwalk

A pedestrian was hit by a vehicle and killed Wednesday in Norwalk.

The victim died at the scene of the crash, which was reported at about 2:40 a.m. at East Imperial Highway and Firestone Boulevard, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.

Information was not immediately available on the identity of the fatally injured person. The driver remained at the scene and no arrests were reported.
