A man accused of burglarizing a construction site in Lake Elsinore was arrested, sheriff’s officials said Friday.
Deputies responded Thursday morning to a burglary alarm in the 28700 block of Highway 74, according to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department.
When they arrived, deputies spotted a sedan parked behind the construction site with its rear license plate allegedly covered, sheriff’s officials said.
The sedan’s driver, Corey Parisi, 34, of Hemet, was detained for questioning and later arrested.
Sheriff’s officials said deputies allegedly found evidence in the car linking Parisi to the burglary, as well as drug paraphernalia.
He was booked into the Southwest Detention Center on suspicion of second-degree burglary and possession of drugs and was released without bail.
