A shooting suspect was arrested after barricading inside a home in La Mirada Wednesday morning.

Deputies from the Norwalk station first responded to a shots-fired call in the 13900 block of Bora Drive at about 8:50 p.m. Tuesday, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.

Special Enforcement Bureau deputies headed to the scene to try to bring about a peaceful resolution, the department said.

The suspect was later taken into custody.

“#LASD SEB SWAT operation for an armed, barricaded assault with a deadly weapon suspect in the city of La Mirada has concluded. Suspect in custody. Bora Dr reopened. Neighborhood safe,” the department tweeted at 6:09 a.m.

Further details were not available.
