One Injured in San Pedro Shooting

One person was taken to a hospital in unknown condition Monday evening with injuries sustained in a shooting in San Pedro.

The shooting was reported in the 100 block of South Mesa Street, near West First Street, about 9:15 p.m., according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

A motive for the shooting and description of the shooter or shooters were not immediately available.

The age, gender and name of the victim were not disclosed.
