Man Murdered in San Jacinto Mobile Home Park Identified

by Contributing Editor

A man fatally assaulted in a San Jacinto mobile home park was identified Monday as a 31-year-old resident of the city.

Gabriel Sanchez was killed about 8 a.m. Friday at the Country Lake Mobile Home Park in the 21100 block of State Street, according to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department.

Sgt. Ben Ramirez said patrol deputies were sent to the location to investigate reports of a man down and found Sanchez unconscious in front of a residence, suffering from “obvious trauma,” the nature of which was not specified.

Deputies and paramedics attempted life-saving measures, but the victim died at the scene, according to Ramirez.

A search was conducted for suspects, but no one was immediately identified.

Anyone with information was asked to contact the sheriff’s Central Homicide Unit at 760-393-3528.
