Man Fatally Shot in Torrance; Suspect or Suspects Sought

A man was fatally shot in Torrance, and his killer remained at large Monday.
Officers went to the 3700 block of Artesia Boulevard about 11 p.m. Sunday on a report of shots fired, according to the Torrance Police Department.
Paramedics pronounced the 52-year-old man dead at the scene. His name was withheld, pending notification of his relatives.
“Detectives are currently conducting a follow-up investigation, and are working to identify the suspect(s) involved,” police said in a statement. “There is no ongoing threat to the public, and this is believed to be an isolated incident.”
