One Killed in Fiery Crash on 10 Freeway in Montclair

A person who was ejected from an SUV in a fiery crash on the San Bernardino (10) Freeway and died at the scene.

The crash happened on the westbound 10 Freeway at Central Avenue around 9:14 p.m., the California Highway Patrol said.

The SUV overturned and burst into flames, the CHP said.

The victim’s name was withheld pending notification of next of kin.

So far, no other victims were reported.

The crash was being investigated by the CHP.
