Officials Search For Missing Rosemead Man, 85

Sheriff’s detectives asked for the public’s help Saturday to find an 85-year-old man suffering from high blood pressure who went missing in Rosemead.

Jose Gutierrez was last at about 8 p.m. Friday in the 8500 block of La Madrina Drive, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department reported.

Gutierrez, who is Hispanic, is 5-feet-5 inches tall and weighs about 190 pounds, the LASD reported. He has brown eyes, thin gray hair and tattoos on both forearms. He was last seen wearing a black suit, white long-sleeved shirt, casual black shoes and gold necklace with a cross.

Anyone with information on his whereabout was asked to call the sheriff’s missing persons unit at 323-890-5500 or 911. Tipsters can also call Crime Stoppers at 800-222-TIPS.
