Man Suffers Minor Smoke Inhalation in Fire in Pacoima Apartment

A man was treated for minor smoke inhalation after a fire in a Pacoima apartment.
The fire at 12330 Osborne St. was reported at 7:40 p.m., Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman Nicholas Prange said.
The department sent 28 firefighters to the scene and knocked down the flames in about 13 minutes, Prange said.
A 60-year-old man suffered smoke inhalation and was treated at the scene, but refused to go to a hospital, he said.
No other victims were reported.
The cause of the fire remained under investigation, Prange said.
