Man Shot to Death in Compton

A man was shot to death in Compton and the case was under investigation Sunday morning.

The shooting was reported at 11:36 p.m. Saturday in the 2100 block of East Bliss Street, according to Deputy Trina Schrader of the Sheriff’s Information Bureau.

Paramedics took the man to a hospital where he was pronounced dead, Schrader said.

No further details were available.
