Suspect Who Shot at Vehicle Arrested

A suspect was arrested in connection with a vehicle-to-vehicle shooting in Coachella Saturday.

The shooting was reported at around 3:15 a.m. near the intersection of Grapefruit Boulevard and Avenue 49, according to the Riverside Country Sheriff’s Department.

The suspect, whom authorities did not identify, was arrested at the scene for firing a handgun at a moving vehicle, sheriff’s officials said.

No one was injured by the gunfire.
