Person Dead After Being Run Over and Stabbed in Downtown L.A. Alley

A person was killed Friday evening when they were run over by a vehicle in an alley in downtown Los Angeles, then stabbed by the driver, police said.

Officers responded to the 1200 block of South Grand Avenue, near Pico Boulevard, at 9:15 p.m. and located the victim, according to Officer Drake Madison of the Los Angeles Police Department.

The age, name and gender of the victim were not disclosed.

A description of the suspect was not immediately available.
