Pedestrian Fatally Struck By Vehicle In South Los Angeles

A pedestrian was fatally struck Friday evening in an unincorporated area near South Los Angeles.

The collision occurred at 7:01 p.m. near the intersection of Firestone Boulevard and Zamora Avenue, according to the California Highway Patrol, which reported a minute later that the victim was down in the street’s lanes and not breathing.

Further information was not immediately released.
