One Killed in Crash on I-10 in Palm Springs

One person was killed Friday evening in a solo vehicle crash on eastbound Interstate 10 in Palm Springs.
The vehicle was speeding when it hit a guardrail east of Indian Canyon Drive about 9:05 p.m. and went across all eastbound lanes of the freeway, according to the California Highway Patrol.
When officers arrived, they found two people inside the vehicle and one person was unresponsive, the CHP said.
A traffic break was in place at Indian Canyon Drive, the CHP said.
The age, gender and name of the victim were not disclosed.
