A man was arrested in Koreatown when Santa Monica police officers conducting a search warrant allegedly discovered fentanyl, heroin, prescription pills, multiple passports, firearms and hundreds of thousands of dollars in cash, police said Friday.

The Santa Monica Police Department’s Special Investigations Unit were investigating a suspect from Los Angeles they believed was selling drugs in Santa Monica, according to Cpt. Saul Rodriguez. Detectives conducted the warrant in the 500 block of Berendo Street, near Fifth Street, on Thursday.

They seized “fentanyl, heroin, prescription pills, approximately $296,000 in cash, a stolen Glock handgun, a shotgun, ammunition, numerous United States passports, various identification cards and driver’s licenses belonging to other persons,” Rodriguez said.

William James Radford was arrested about noon Thursday for possession of narcotics for sales, possession of narcotics with a loaded firearm, being a convicted felon in possession of a firearm and receiving stolen property, according to Rodriguez.
