Man, 21, Dead After Being Run Over and Stabbed in Downtown L.A. Alley

A 21-year-old man was killed in a downtown Los Angeles alley, where he was run over by a vehicle, then stabbed by the driver and authorities searched for the suspect Saturday morning.
Officers responded to the 1200 block of South Grand Avenue, near Pico Boulevard, at 9:15 p.m. Friday and located the victim, according to Officer Drake Madison of the Los Angeles Police Department.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene at 9:28 p.m., according the coroner’s office. His name was withheld, pending notification of next of kin.
A description of the suspect was not available.
