by Contributing Editor

A man was arrested Wednesday on suspicion of pulling a gun’s trigger several times, without discharging it, during a fight with a woman walking her dog in Culver City.

The woman was walking her dog in the 4100 block of Grand View Boulevard, near Washington Boulevard, when a man and woman pulled their vehicle up to her and an argument ensued, the Culver City Police Department said.

The female occupant exited the vehicle and got into a physical altercation with the victim, during which the man exited the vehicle, according to police.

“The male suspect approached the victim, pulled a silver revolver from his waistband, and pulled the trigger several times, but the firearm did not discharge,” police said.

On Wednesday, officers served a search warrant and arrested the suspect, according to police. A firearm was also recovered.

The suspect’s name and further information were not released.
