Off-duty L.A. County deputy shoots man in parking lot after seeing him looking in cars, department says

According to the L.A. County Sheriff’s Department, the man moved toward the off-duty deputy while reaching for his waistband after being confronted about looking into cars parked near the Whittier Courthouse.
