Californians not sold on treating Uber, Lyft drivers as independent contractors, new poll shows

A new poll found 39% of likely voters support Proposition 22, compared with 36% who oppose the measure that would allow app-based companies to treat their workers as independent contractors, exempting them from employment law AB 5.
