Man, 26, Arrested In Azusa For Alleged Possession of Child Pornography

A 26-year-old Azusa man was arrested Wednesday for alleged possession of child pornography, police said.

Daniel Carreon was taken into custody at his home about 7:30 a.m. after detectives served a warrant, according to Azusa police Lt. Robert Chivas.

Carreon’s arrest was the result of a joint investigation between Azusa police and the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force that began late last month when police received information about child porn distributed on the Internet between May and July.

Carreon is being held in lieu of $20,000 bail, according to jail records, and is expected to make his first appearance in Citrus Superior Court in West Covina on Friday.
