by Contributing Editor

Culver City police urged people to call them if they have information about a shots-fired incident Thursday morning with no known injuries.

Officers went to the 11200 block of Venice Boulevard about 1:30 a.m., Culver City police said.

“Several witnesses stated they heard multiple gunshots in the area,” police said in a statement. “Upon arrival, officers located six spent shell casings on Tuller Avenue, just south of Venice Boulevard, as well as one stray bullet that struck a nearby food vending truck.”

Officers searched the area and contacted hospitals, but no victims were found. Anyone with information on the case was urged to call police at 310-253-6300.
