California targets diesel trucks, ships with biggest pollution cuts in years

California air quality officials are poised to adopt their biggest pollution-cutting regulations in more than a decade by targeting two leading sources of cancer-causing and smog-forming emissions: diesel trucks and oceangoing ships.
