Man With Dementia Missing From Palmdale

Authorities Wednesday sought public help to find a man with dementia who went missing in Palmdale.

Epigmenio Reyes Mares, 72, was last seen about 10:30 p.m. Tuesday in the 2700 block of East Avenue R-12, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department reported.

He was described as Hispanic, 5-feet-6 inches tall, 160 pounds, with brown hair and black eyes. He may be driving a green 1997 Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck, California license number 6S77378.

Anyone knowing his whereabouts was urged to call 323-890-5500, or Crime Stoppers at 800-222-TIPS.
