One Killed in Crash at Freeway Off-Ramp in South Los Angeles

A person was killed in a traffic crash Saturday at a freeway off-ramp to the Santa Monica (10) Freeway in South Los Angeles.

The crash on the westbound freeway at the Western Avenue off-ramp occurred at 6:51 a.m., the California Highway Patrol reported. A Sigalert was issued at 7:08 a.m. closing the off-ramp for 30 minutes due to police activity, the CHP said.

There was no other immediate information.
