Man Shot in Shoulder in South Los Angeles

A man in his early 20s was shot twice in one shoulder and taken to a hospital by his family, authorities said Saturday.

The shooting occurred at 5:28 p.m. Friday at 84th Street and Vermont Avenue, according to a desk officer at the Los Angeles Police Department’s Operations Center.

The victim had stable vital signs, he said.

No suspect information was available.
