by Contributing Editor

Los Angeles County firefighters extinguished a fire Friday inside a one-story auto parts store in Pacoima.

The call about the blaze at 3311 Mulford Ave. came in just before 6 p.m., said L.A. County Fire Department Dispatch Supervisor Michael Pitman.

The department dispatched 50 firefighters to the scene and extinguished the flames in 16 minutes, Pitman said.

No injuries were reported.

County fire arson inspectors were called to the scene to determine the cause of the blaze, he said.
