California prosecutors routinely strike Black and Latino people from juries, report says

In nearly 700 cases involving appeals of jury strikes, prosecutors struck Black prospective jurors in 72% of cases and Latinos in 28%,and appellate courts have failed to rein in the practice, a UC Berkeley study found.
