Mustang Slams into Metro Bus in Carson, No Injuries Reported

A car collided with a Metro bus in Carson Sunday, sending the bus into a divider and nearly slamming into a nearby mobile home.

The collision happened about 2:15 p.m. on Vermont Avenue near 245th Street, authorities said.

California Highway Patrol officers told the Los Angeles Daily News the Ford Mustang that hit the bus was northbound on Vermont when the driver lost control.

The crash left the Mustang with severe damage and the bus crashed through a cinder block wall next to a mobile home park, the newspaper reported.

No one was hurt in the crash, the CHP reported.

There’s no word yet as to why the driver lost control of the car.
