One Man Killed, One Wounded in South LA Shooting

One man was killed and another was wounded Saturday in a shooting in the Manchester Square area of South Los Angeles, authorities said.

The shooting was reported about 7 p.m. at 83rd Street and Halldale Avenue, according to Lt. N. Driller of the Los Angeles Police Department’s 77th Street Station.

The wounded man was taken to a hospital with stable vital signs, Driller said.

The motive and suspect information were not available, he said.
