Woman Suspected of Trying to Kill Wildomar Resident

by Contributing Editor

A 20-year-old woman was arrested Friday for allegedly trying to kill a Wildomar resident.

Ruby Michelle Mora was booked into the Robert Presley Detention Center in Riverside on suspicion of attempted murder for the alleged attack Tuesday in the 33000 block of Orchard Street, near Bundy Canyon Road. Mora is being held in lieu of $1 million bail.

According to Riverside County sheriff’s Sgt. Ray Ricken, deputies learned of the alleged attack shortly after the victim, whose name was not disclosed, went to the emergency room at Inland Valley Medical Center for treatment of “severe injuries.”

Detectives soon confirmed the alleged assailant was Mora, and a search of the area began, Ricken said. A possible motive for the attack was not released.

The 5-foot, 130-pound suspect was located after midnight near Casino Drive and Malaga Road, where she was taken into custody without a struggle, Ricken said.
