Police: Three Women Killed inside Hemet Home, Two Suspects in Custody

by Contributing Editor

Three women were killed inside a Hemet residence, and the two people believed to be the killers were behind bars Thursday.

Wendy Lopez-Araiza, 46, her daughter, 21-year-old Genesis Lopez-Araiza, and their housemate, 18-year-old Trinity Clyde, were killed Wednesday in the 1400 block of Rabbit Peak Way, near Rexford Drive, according to the Hemet Police Department.

Sgt. Gabriel Gomez said that the two adults suspected of the killings were arrested Thursday, but declined to provide any additional details, including their names.

There was also no mention of a possible motive.

Police will hold a news briefing Friday afternoon at Hemet City Hall to disclose further details.

Gomez said patrol officers were called to the Rabbit Peak Way home about 9 p.m. Wednesday to investigate reports of a female lying “in a pool of blood.”

“Three adult females were discovered deceased inside the residence,” Gomez said.

Anyone who may have information was asked to contact the detective bureau at 951-765-2396.
