Irvine Police Officer Injured in Two-Vehicle Crash

A police officer suffered non-life threatening injuries during a two-vehicle crash in Irvine, police said Sunday.

The crash occurred a little before midnight Saturday in the area of Yale and Irvine Center Drive, according to a watch commander at the Irvine Police Department.

The officer and the motorist in the other vehicle suffered non-life threatening injuries, he said.

The California Highway Patrol was investigating the crash.
