Man Shot in South L.A., Listed in Stable Condition

A man was shot Sunday in South Los Angeles and was listed in stable condition at an area hospital, police said.

The shooting occurred about 3 a.m. in the area of 91st Street and Western Avenue, said Officer Rosario Cervantes of the Los Angeles Police Department’s Media Relations Section.

The victim was outside when several gunshots were heard and he was struck by gunfire, Cervantes said.

He was rushed to an area hospital and listed in stable condition.

No suspect information was released.
