Woman Wounded in Pasadena Shooting

A woman was wounded Friday morning in a shooting in Pasadena and hospitalized with a non-life-threatening injury.

Police received several calls of shots fired in the 500 block of East Washington Boulevard, near El Molino Avenue, about 12:15 a.m. and when they arrived at the scene, they found a woman suffering from a gunshot wound, according to Lt. Bill Grisafe of the Pasadena Police Department.

The victim was taken to a hospital with a non-life-threatening wound, Grisafe said.

A motive for the shooting was not determined, and no detailed description of the shooter was immediately available.
