Child, Subject of Amber Alert, Located; Mother in Custody

A woman suspected of abducting her 3-year-old daughter during a custody visit in Garden Grove was taken into custody Friday evening and the daughter found after the issuance of an Amber Alert.
The Amber Alert was issued around 6 p.m. for Josephine Lujan and her 39-year-old mother Christina Lujan. It was deactivated at 7:11 p.m.
The girl was taken during a visit with her mother at her grandmother’s Garden Grove home at about 1:50 p.m., according to Garden Grove police.
“When grandma went inside her house & came back out, she found Christina & vict gone,” the Garden Grove Police Department tweeted.
Details of the arrest were not immediately available.
