Three Hurt in Apartment Complex Fire in Hemet

Fire tore through an apartment complex in Hemet Friday morning and there are reports of at least three people injured.

The fire was reported about 1:15 a.m. near Alessandro Street, near Latham Avenue.

Video from the scene showed thick smoke around the complex as Hemet police officers went door-to-door to alert residents to get out of the building.

Media reports from the scene said up to three people were hurt in the fire.

The cause was under investigation.
