Pedestrian Critically Injured in Hit-and-Run Crash Near MacArthur Park

A pedestrian was hospitalized Friday morning with critical injuries suffered in a hit-and-run crash near MacArthur Park in the Pico-Union area of Los Angeles.

The accident occurred around 10:45 p.m. Thursday near Olympic Boulevard and Grand View Street, according to the Los Angeles Police Department. The victim was taken to a hospital in critical condition.

A news photographer at the scene said detectives sought the driver of a white Tesla, but a detailed description of the vehicle was not immediately available from police.

The victim was reported to be a 25-year-old man, CBS2 reported.
