Burbank Police Searching for Missing Man, 62, Suffering from Dementia

Police continued their search Thursday to find a 62-year-old man who suffers from dementia and diabetes and wandered away from his retirement home in Burbank, a sergeant said.
Armando Alaniz was last seen at his retirement home, Le Bleu Chateau, at 1911 Grismer Ave. Oct. 20, Burbank Police Sgt. Derek Green said.
Alaniz needs medication but has a habit of wandering away from his assisted-living facility and is known to search for recyclables, Green said.
He is Hispanic, stands 5-feet-5 inches tall and weighs about 120 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes.
He was last seen wearing a gray shirt and gray sweat pants, Green said.
