Gentrification is the new litmus test to be elected county supervisor in South L.A.

With South L.A. in the midst of a renaissance, fears about gentrification and homelessness are defining the race for the 2nd District seat on the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors. The district includes the largest number of people sleeping on the streets and in vehicles of any supervisorial district.
