Woman critical after car hits her in Pasadena

A 47-year-old Pasadena woman was in critical condition at a hospital after she was struck by a car just before 11 p.m. Sunday in Pasadena.
The preliminary investigation suggests the driver did not see the woman who was crossing the street, Pasadena police Lt. Mark Goodman said.
The motorist, in a Honda Accord, headed south on Raymond Avenue and then turned left onto Washington Boulevard and hit her, the lieutenant said.
The driver was a 29-year-old Pasadena resident.
“She fully cooperated with the police investigation and was not under the influence of alcohol or drugs at the time of the collision,” Goodman said, adding that speed does not appear to have been a factor, either.
Anyone with information about the case is asked to call Traffic Sgt. Dennis Beene at 626-744-4343. Anonymous tipsters can contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 or at lacrimestoppers.org.
