2 killed, 2 hurt after car hits metal pole in Pasadena

Two men were killed and two other men were injured when their car crashed Monday night, Sept. 2, into a metal pole in Pasadena.

Authorities have not released the names of the those killed.

PoIice have not yet determined what led to the solo crash on the 500 block of North Orange Grove Boulevard, which was reported to Pasadena police at 10:53 p.m., according to Lt. Mark Goodman in a statement.

A black 2016 Toyota Corolla crashed into a pole on the east side of Orange Grove Boulevard.

Two of the occupants were pronounced dead at the scene, Goodman said. The two other men in the car were admitted to a hospital in stable condition.

It was not clear Tuesday morning whether the injured men have been released from the hospital.
