Man Shot Dead in Late-Night Altercation in Moreno Valley

A man was shot dead and another man suffered a non-life threatening gunshot wound during a shooting attack in Moreno Valley, the sheriff’s department said Sunday.
A third man was not injured during the assault, according to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department.
Deputies responding at 11:29 p.m. Saturday to reports of an assault with a deadly weapon in the 12000 block of Pigeon Pass Road and located two men suffering from gunshot wounds.
One man was pronounced dead at the scene and paramedics transported the other one to an area hospital with a non-life threatening gunshot wound.
