by Contributing Editor

Sheriff’s detectives Monday asked the public for help locating an 89-year-old Lakewood man with dementia and diabetes.

Frank Martinez Espinoza was last seen at 6 p.m. Sunday leaving his residence in the 20800 block of Alburtis Avenue.

Due to his physical and mental condition, his loved ones are concerned for his well-being, Deputy Tracy Koerner of the Sheriff’s Information Bureau said.

Martinez Espinoza is Hispanic, 5 feet 6, 177 pounds, with white balding hair and brown eyes. He was wearing a green shirt and blue jeans.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts was asked to call detectives at 323-890-5500 or Crime Stoppers at 800-222-TIPS (8477).
