Judge: California Sheriff Cannot Reinstate Fired Deputy

A judge on Monday ruled that L.A. County Sheriff Alex Villanueva’s decision to reinstate a deputy who had been fired for violating department policies regarding domestic violence must be reversed and that the deputy must be dismissed and return all county property, including his badge and gun.
