A person was struck and killed Saturday by “several vehicles” on the Harbor (110) Freeway in Downtown Los Angeles, a fire spokesperson said.

Firefighters and paramedics were dispatched at 5:15 a.m. to the northbound freeway near Temple Street, said Margaret Stewart of the Los Angeles Fire Department.

One person was pronounced dead at the scene after being struck by ”several vehicles,” Stewart said.

“Traffic will be impacted on the northbound 110 for undetermined period of time,” she said.
