Hungry bear makes pit stop at Newhall mobile home park

by Steven Rosenberg

Residents at a Newhall mobile home park had a hungry visitor early Thursday in the form of a bear who rummaged through trash bins looking for something to eat.

The bear’s entry into the mobile home park on the 23500 block of The Old Road was reported to the California Highway Patrol about 1:56 a.m.

The bear can be seen leaping onto and into trash bins at the mobile home park. He appears to have left without incident.
