Girl, 7, Mother, 24, Missing in Koreatown Now Found

A 7-year-old girl who went missing with her 24-year-old mother in Koreatown has been found safe in Bakersfield Sunday.

“She was taken to Bakersfield by her mother and they were located earlier this evening,” Los Angeles police Officer D. Orris told City News Service.

Ruby Alvarado and her mother, Xyla Aguirre, who was making a family visit, both went missing Saturday about 9 a.m. in the 3100 block of West Sixth Street, the LAPD reported.
