1,198 coronavirus cases in the San Fernando Valley: Which communities have the most?

As of noon Thursday, April 9, 2020, there were at least 1,198 documented cases of the novel coronavirus in San Fernando Valley communities, according to the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health.
Between Wednesday and Thursday, there were 75 new cases in San Fernando Valley communities.
The Valley communities with the most cases of COVID-19 are North Hollywood with 108, Sylmar with 89, and Sherman Oaks with 69.

Outside of the San Fernando Valley, the Agoura and Calabasas area has a total of 46 cases.
The Burbank-Glendale area, including La Canada Flintridge, has 308 cases.
The Santa Clarita and Antelope Valley areas, including Canyon Country and Castaic, have 306 cases.
There could be more cases in any of these areas. The county is still investigating 633 possible COVID-19 cases and hasn’t yet released information on where those patients live in the county.
And due to the limited availability of COVID-19 tests, officials have said there are many more people infected with the novel coronavirus than are represented in these numbers.
As of noon Thursday across Los Angeles County, the health departments of LA County and the cities of Pasadena and Long Beach have recorded 7,984 confirmed cases of COVID-19, the disease caused by the novel coronavirus.
Of the 7,984 patients with positive COVID-19 tests, 1,894 have been hospitalized.
There have been 225 deaths in the county due to the virus.
